The Town of Burnettown offers a variety of parks and community spaces where residents can gather, play, and celebrate special events. From sports fields and playgrounds to rental facilities and scenic outdoor areas, our parks system provides something for all ages and interests.
Horse Creek Midland Valley Veterans Park
Located along SC Hwy 421 / Augusta Road, Horse Creek Midland Valley Veterans Park serves as a community gathering space and a place of honor and reflection for our local veterans and their families.
Burnettown Community Center

The Burnettown Community Center, originally the town’s first Town Hall, has been renovated and updated to serve as a modern event space. It is available to rent for birthday parties, showers, reunions, meetings, and other special occasions.
- Rental Fee: $200 (non-refundable)
- Security Deposit: $200 (refundable if there is no damage, no rental agreement violations, and the key is returned)

Sassafras Park

Sassafras Park is located directly behind the Community Center. This beautiful park features a large green space, playground, shelters, a stage, and more, making it a favorite spot for family outings and community events.
Shelter Rental Information:
- Rental Fee: $25.00 (non-refundable)
- Key Deposit (for bathrooms): $25.00 (refundable if there is no damage, no excessive litter, no rental agreement violations, and the key is returned)
Willie Whaley Park
Willie Whaley Park, located on Carline Road, is a recreation sports park that provides open space and fields for athletic activities and community sports.

Langley Pond Park
Langley Pond Park is located on Langley Dam Road, adjacent to Langley Pond. It offers a playground, disc golf course, fishing docks, and many additional outdoor recreation opportunities. The park lies within the town limits of Burnettown and is maintained by Aiken County Parks and Recreation.
