The Burnettown Police Department’s goal is to provide exemplary police services to protect and serve the citizens of Burnettown.  The department employees two full-time officers, one part-time officer, and a victim advocate. The department is seeking qualified reserve officers.  The entire department is dedicated to keeping our community safe.

The Police Department is located at Burnettown Town Hall within the C.H. Williams Municipal Center, 3187 Augusta Road.

The Police Department has “Mutual Aid Agreements” with several area departments, including Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, North Augusta Public Safety, and Aiken Department of Public Safety.

DSC00895fBurnettown’s water department services approximately 430 customers.  The Water Department office is located at Town Hall within the C.H. Williams Municipal Center.  Water bills are due on the 3rd of every month.

Parks & Recreation Department

Burnettown has several parks for the enjoyment of area citizens.

Willie Whaley Park is located on Carline Road and is used for many activities, including ball teams, parties and recreation.

Sassafras Park is located across from Town Hall behind the Burnettown Community Center and includes a playground for the children and a new splash pad, which should be open to the public by Memorial Day.  The picnic area and stage area are available for rental.  Access to the park can be gained from Augusta Road (Hwy 421) or from Carline Road.

Langley Pond Park is located on Langley Dam Road, adjacent to Langley Pond.  Langley Pond Park is in the city limits of Burnettown and is maintained by Aiken County Parks and Recreation.

 

Sassafras Park Shelter Rental Information:

$25.00 Rental Fee – NON-REFUNDABLE

$25.00 Key Deposit (for bathrooms and gate) – REFUNDABLE IF there is no damage caused by your event to the premise or equipment, no excessive litter is left behind or if you are not made to vacate premise due to a rental agreement violation and once the key is returned.
